Zak Vyner pens a new deal at Bristol City
After a successful loan spell at Plymouth Argyle, our man Zak Vyner has been rewarded with a new deal at Aston Gate, keeping him at the club until the Summer of 2021.
“I am delighted to sign a new deal with the club I have been at since the age of nine,” Vyner told bcfc.co.uk.
“The club has progressed in every aspect since I arrived and it’s great to be involved in its long term vision.
“My recent loan spells have been beneficial to my development and I am continually learning from my current teammates so I’m looking forward to my future at Bristol City.”
Vyner was handed his City debut at MK Dons in 2016 and has since enjoyed loan moves to Accrington Stanley and Plymouth Argyle, respectively.
The 21-year-old shone during his temporary spell at Home Park last season, where he scored his first senior goal, helped the Pilgrims reach the League One play-offs, and received the club’s Young Player of the Year accolade.
Vyner has made a total of 13 appearances in City colours.
Congratulations Zak, big season ahead for you. Be Exceptional.
