Graham Potter named Head Coach of Brighton
It’s Official – Potter swaps the Swans for the Seagulls after being named the new Head Coach of Brighton and Hove Albion!
Congratulations to client Graham Potter who today signed a 4-year contract to become the head Coach of Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club. KeySports have also worked hard to bring Graham’s backroom team of Bjorn Hamberg, Kyle Macauley and Billy Reid to the club.
Graham has spent just short of 12 months at the Liberty Stadium, where he has began a rebuilding process after the club were relegated from the Premier League prior to his arrival.
Our man has been impressive in his first year in English football, by working within a tight budget, developing exciting young talent and showing his tactical qualities by guiding the Swans to safety in the Championship and winning many plaudits along the way during an exciting Cup run.
Graham’s impressive work hasn’t gone unnoticed and Brighton wasted no time in making him their head coach after the departure of Chris Hughton.
Graham said, “I was sold by the long-term vision and passion shown by Tony Bloom, Paul Barber and Dan Ashworth.
“The ideas and plans they have for the future of this football club excited me; I am thrilled and honoured to be a part of it.
“This club has been on an incredible journey and my aim along with Bjorn [Hamberg], Kyle [Macauley] and Billy [Reid], is to ensure the great work that has gone before us is built on, as we strive to cement our place in the Premier League for many years to come.”
We have been pleased to work with Graham and his team to secure the move to this great club and we can’t wait to see them work their magic on the most exciting stage of all…the Premier League.
