Adam Bogdan extends Hibernian FC contract until the end of the season

Congratulations to our Hibbs keeper Adam Bogdan who has today extended his contract until the end of the season!

The Hungarian International first arrived at the Edinburgh club in 2018 making 25 appearances during his loan move from parent club Liverpool. After an unfortunate head injury midway through the season, Bogdan was side-lined, before returning to Easter Road on a short-term deal two months ago.

Adam said: “As I said in November, it feels so natural for me to be back at Hibernian.

“I know the players, the staff and the club inside-out and vice versa. My family and I are also really settled in the city.

“I was always hopeful that we would extend the agreement and the offer to go to the training camp in Spain was a show of faith from both sides.

“I read some kinds words from Ofir talking about me and it goes without saying that I have a lot of respect for him.

“We help each other out on a daily basis and try to keep standards high but, like any player, I want to do everything that I can to play.

“There’s healthy competition there.

“At the same time, if I can do anything to help the likes of Kevin and Paddy to progress than I’ll do that. You have to lead by example.”

We wish you all the best Adam and go and be exceptional.
