Theo Walcott joins Everton FC

Client Theo Walcott has completed his transfer to Everton from Arsenal on a three-and-a-half-year contract.

The move brings to an end Theo’s 12-year stay at Arsenal, where he scored 108 goals in 397 appearances. Only Dennis Bergkamp (277) and Patrick Vieira (276) made more Premier League appearances for Arsenal under Arsene Wenger

On his move to Everton, Theo said “There’s something about this move I’ve just felt good about”.

“It felt like it was time for me to move on [from Arsenal],”

“It was sad but it’s exciting at the same time and I want to reignite my career and push Everton to win things as they have done before.

“The manager is very hungry and it’s just what I need. I’ve had a couple of chats with him and straightaway I felt that hunger and that desire that he wanted from me.”

Blues boss Sam Allardyce revealed he has brought him to Goodison “because of his experience with Arsenal, playing Champions League football and fighting to get into Champions League positions and winning FA Cups – and he’s got a lot of ambition.”

Good luck Theo, we can’t wait to see you in Blue.
