Reading's George Evans becomes our latest signing.

23 year old midfielder George was born in Cheadle, Manchester and joined Man City at the age of 6. After several seasons in City’s academy, Evans first came to prominence with several appearances on the bench for City during the 2012–13 season.

Two successful loan spells at Crewe Alexandra and Scunthorpe United saw him gain valuable first team experience, making over 50 league appearances.

Towards the end of 2015, Evans made his First Team debut for City when he came on as a substitute during a 4-1 win against Sunderland in the League Cup. In doing so, he became the second Manchester City player to represent the club at all levels from under-8s right through to the senior team.

Another loan move followed at Walsall before George joined Championship side Reading. He quickly became an important player for the Royals as he helped them reach the Play-Off Final in 2017.

We’re really pleased to have you on board George and we can’t wait to see your career progress at Key Sports.
