Tyrone Mings becomes a KICK IT OUT ambassador.
AFC Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings has been announced as an ambassador for Kick It Out, football’s equality and inclusion organisation.
The 24-year-old will help endorse the messages of Kick It Out by providing support with events and initiatives run by the organisation.
Tyrone recently supported Kick It Out as they hosted a Powerchair Football session alongside AFC Bournemouth’s Community Trust in November 2017.
Tyrone observed the session, before taking part in a Q&A with the young participants as they were given the opportunity to quiz him on his career.
The ambassador programme at Kick It Out brings together a number of footballers from diverse backgrounds across the Premier League, English Football League, Women’s Super League and beyond to champion the organisation’s core messages of equality and inclusion.
Upon his announcement, Tyrone was pleased to show his support for Kick It Out.
“Becoming an ambassador for Kick It Out is a proud moment for me,” he said. “Equality and inclusion is something I feel very strongly about and Kick It Out does hugely important work within the community to deliver those messages.
“I look forward to helping continue to spread the word and use the power of football as a vehicle for change.”
