Matt Crooks completes switch to Rotherham United

A huge congratulations to our man Matt Crooks who has completed a move from Championship Rotherham United from League Two Northampton Town, signing a 3.5 year deal at the New York Stadium

24 year old Matt, joined Northampton Town in the summer of 2017 and has gone on to play in over 50 games for them, becoming a fan favourite in the process.

The 6ft 4in midfielder began his career with Huddersfield Town before joining Accrington Stanley in February 2015 where his outstanding form attracted the interest of a number of clubs.

He ultimately signed a pre contract agreement with Glasgow Rangers in January 2016 and moved to Ibrox the following summer. He returned to England by joining Scunthorpe United on loan in the January 2017 transfer window, scoring three goals in twelve appearances for the Irons as he helped them reach the 2016/17 League 1 play offs.

Again, our man attracted a host of interest but it was the Cobblers that won the race to sign a highly sought after player.

Matt completely deserves this move to Championship club Rotherham, we know he will be a major asset to them as they look to maintain their second tier status.

Be Exceptional Matt.
