Jordan Storey signs for Preston North End!

Congratulations to Jordan who has completed a transfer to Preston North End from Exeter City for an undisclosed fee, signing a 4 year contract at Deepdale.

After putting pen to paper with the Lilywhites, Jordan said: _“It is a new challenge for me and I can’t wait to get started at a big club.

“The last couple of months have been great for me. We managed to get to the Play-Off Final [at Exeter City]. It didn’t manage to work out for us, but on a personal note, from where I have come from, it has been great for me.

“I now want to learn as much as I can. The manager is going to mould me and build me into the best player that I can hopefully. It was nice to speak to him and to get to know him and I am looking forward to getting started.

“It is a cracking stadium and it is different to what I have been playing in regularly and I can’t wait to get started and show what I am about.”_

Jordan’s rise to prominence has been nothing short of impressive, he actually started last season in non-league football on loan to Southern Premier League club Dorchester Town. He was recalled to St. James Park after 13 appearances and when injuries began to take their toll in February 2018, our man Jordan took his chance by starting 13 games and scoring 2 goals as City made their way to the Play-Off Final.

His then Manager Paul Tidsdale said, after Jordan had scored his 2nd goal in 8 games: “He’s a young player, he’s only got a handful of games under his belt but he’s got bags of potential.

“He played on the left-hand side of defence on Tuesday despite being right-footed.
