Forshaw chooses Leeds' famous No.4 shirt.

After completing his transfer from Middlesbrough to Leeds United, our man Adam Forshaw made an immediate statement by choosing to wear the famous No.4 shirt at Elland Road.

Number 4 was the shirt number worn by United great Billy Bremner during his time at the club. Big shoes to fill but we know how good Adam can be and we also know he’s eager to show the fans what he can do.

Former Everton midfielder Forshaw signed for Leeds on a four-and-a-half-year deal from Middlesbrough this evening with the 26-year-old joining the Whites for a deal worth £4.5m and immediately set his sights on the third promotion of his young career

Adam on his move… “I wasn’t playing enough and as soon as I knew Leeds were interested I knew this was the club for me,”

“I was attracted by the history and the size of the club but I can see the project and what the club is trying to do now. There’s a lot of excitement around the place and the crowds are phenomenal.

“I can feel the vibe about the place and I can’t wait to get going.”

Good luck Adam, we can’t wait to see you wear that famous white kit.
