Fabio Da Silva completes switch to FC Nantes

We’re pleased to announce that our latest KeySports client Fabio Da Silva has completed a transfer from Middlesbrough to Ligue 1 giants FC Nantes today, signing a 3 year deal with the French club.

Fabio has spent 2 years at the Riverside including one season in the Premier League, after joining from Cardiff City in 2016. He is a firm crowd favourite and has built a special bond with the Boro fanbase.

Joining FC Nantes is an exciting new chapter for Fabio’s career, he has spent all of his professional life in the English League system. In addition to Boro and Cardiff he has played for QPR and most memorably Manchester United with his twin brother Rafael.

At Old Trafford, our man secured an impressive list of honours including winning the Premier League, he also started the 2011 Champions League Final against Barcelona.

He will be reunited with his brother this season but this time they will face up against each other as Rafael plays for league rivals Olympique Lyonnais.

Congratulations Fabio, we can’t wait to be part of this exciting new chapter of your career. Be Exceptional.
