Louis Reed completes switch to Peterborough United

Congratulations to Louis who today completed a move from Sheffield United to League One Peterborough United for an undisclosed fee, signing a 3 year contract with The Posh.

He is Manager Steve Evans and Peterborough’s 8th signing of the Summer as the Posh look to gain promotion back into the Championship after a 5 year absence.

_“I’m delighted to get it over the line and I can’t wait to get started”

“I hope to bring goals and assists to the team. I like to be creative in the final third and also help out defensively,” added Reed.

Louis has been at Sheffield United for all of his career, having come through the ranks at the Academy. He made his first-team debut in a 1–0 home victory against rivals Rotherham United, at the age 16 years and 257 days old, becoming the youngest player ever to represent the club in league football.

Our man spent last season on loan at Chesterfield, gaining valuable first team experience, making 47 appearances for the League Two club.
